Is your team traveling somewhere on an airplane? Here are some planning tips to help you save money while you book your flights!

 

Check different websites

When researching flights for your trip it’s a good idea to check multiple sites. Some sites may have specials that others may not. It also wouldn’t hurt to check the actual airline website as well. By doing so you are broaden your chances of finding the lowest rate possible.

 

Know when to book your flight

You might think that it’s best to book a flight as early as possible, but that’s not always true. Booking too early can increase the price almost as much as if you wait too long. Typically the best time to purchase a ticket is between 3 weeks and 4 months prior to your trip.

 

Sign up for airfare alerts

This planning tip is very important. If you’re a busy person and don’t have a lot of time to keep checking for cheaper rates, signing up for airfare alerts can be very helpful. You can receive notifications about current specials so you can make the time to go ahead and book your flight.

 

Fly different airlines

Even though we may think it’s more convenient to stick to one airline, that doesn’t always mean it will be the cheapest. Know when to fly: different days have cheaper rates
