Being in the service industry, no matter what specific field, one must have the desire to wake up every morning and be willing to help.
Service is something that I have been involved with since I was a little girl. I have always been the first one to jump in to help someone in need. It is actually quite sad how many selfish people we have in the world today. Not many people want to step in and help someone in need these days. Service is something you can do and learn without an education. And the majority of the time service is free. A service can be as simple as holding the door open for another person. Or it can be as complicated as calling a police officer in a time of help.
I always knew that I wanted to have a career that involves making other people’s lives easier. My goal every day is to try and make someone’s day a little bit less complicated. Here at Traveling Teams we do just that. We talk to people on a daily basis, whether it is directly with the client or with the hotel. You learn how different people act in different situations. You can tell if someone doesn’t care about helping another person or how passionate they are about their job. Being in the service industry, no matter what specific field, one must have the desire to wake up every morning and be willing to help. You have to have that drive to make someone else’s day easier. I want to serve people for a living. And I cannot wait to see where my future takes me in the service industry.
